Ingredients
- 3 tbps unsalted butter
- 1 medium yellow onion chopped
- 2 pcs garlic cloves minced
- 1 tsp fresh ginger minced
- 1 1/2 pounds chicken breasts cut into ¾-inch chunks
- 2 pcs tomatoes chopped finely
- 1 tbsp garam masala powder
- 1 tsp teaspoon red chili powder
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1/2 tsp teaspoon ground turmeric
- Salt and ground black pepper as required
- 1/4 cup plain yogurt whipped
- 3/4 cup heavy cream
- 2 tbsp fresh cilantro chopped
Instructions
- Melt the butter in a large wok over medium-high heat and sauté the onions for about 6-8 minutes.
- Add the garlic, and ginger and sauté for about 1 minute.
- Add the tomatoes and cook for about 2-3 minutes, crushing with the back of spoon.
- Stir in the chicken, spices, salt, and black pepper and cook for about 6-8 minutes or until desired doneness of the chicken.
- Stir in the yogurt and heavy cream and cook for about 8-10 more minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot.
